Decisions, Decisions

Whatever shall I do? We are all faced with this question when it comes time to make a decision, and some decisions are trivial like what clothes to wear today? Or what should I have for breakfast? Should I have chops or steak for dinner tonight? These decisions are small in comparison to more weightier matters.

The weightier the matter, the more difficult the decision to make and these decisions can affect out entire lives because they require more consideration and forethought which in turn can and do produce sleepless nights by the way. Some of these decisions are: Should I buy this house over here or that house over there in a nicer neighborhood? What type of career should I embark on? Should I marry this person? Should I forgive my mate or get a divorce, whatever shall I do?

Other decisions are a joy to make. For example, our decision to take a vacation, and selecting the places we will visit and the things we will see and do, these are decisions that even our children can make.

When we are faced with important choices, it is vital that we think clearly and rationally, never should we be influenced by what appears to be the easy way out or the path of least resistance. Essential to the decision making process is our faculty of conscience, it has the ability to render judgment and we can be accused by it or even excused by it and should we encounter difficulties after making a conscientious decision, there is no reason to assume that the decision was wrong. Unforeseen things and time can adversely affect the outcome of even the best intented decisions. The point is, to make important decisions wisely and in good conscience and they will always have a good outcome in the long run.
